INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES
ISG has been providing personnel security investigation support services to
the FBI since 2004.  Our support began with a requirement for supporting
the demanding task of adjudicating the growing backlog of background
investigations of individuals with critical linguistic skills.  The performance
of our personnel on that contract contributed to the award of an additional
contract in 2006 which significantly expanded our support for the FBI
Security Division.  A primary source of our contract personnel for the FBI
effort has been retired federal agents.  These are highly skilled employees
with a critical institutional knowledge base that ensures they are productive
from the minute they are placed on the job.

We are justifiably proud of the support we have provided  to the effort of protecting America in a
time of increased threats and activities by terrorists.  Marty Mulholland, our Vice President of
Investigative Services has over 30-years of experience with the Federal Bureau of Investigation,
including nearly two decades of field experience as a Special Agent and  twelve years experience
in the Criminal and Personnel Divisions at FBI Headquarters.

As a result of Marty's leadership and our ongoing efforts in the security field, ISG now has access
to a nationwide group of talented retirees from the CIA, FBI, DOD, and Treasury that have
aligned themselves with our company for current and future efforts.  Additionally, we have
attracted an impressive cadre of experienced security personnel with excellent private sector
credentials who are available to support ISG client requirements.

ISG can provide support to the Federal sector in:

  • Background investigations;
  • Security adjudications;
  • Research related to personnel and security issues;
  • Counterterrorism investigations;
  • Criminal investigations;
  • Risk assessment and threat analysis; and
  • Security audits and analysis.
